License Activation

After purchasing a Pro or Personal plan, you’ll receive a license key. Activate it to unlock all features and remove the 30-minute session limit.

Activate via CLI

apxy license activate YOUR-LICENSE-KEY

To check your current license status:

apxy license status

To deactivate your license (e.g., to move it to another machine):

apxy license deactivate

Activate via Web UI

1. Open the APXY Web UI (default: http://localhost:8082)
2. Navigate to Settings from the sidebar
3. Find the License card at the top of the page
4. Enter your license key in the text input
5. Click Activate

Once activated, the card will show your plan tier (Pro or Personal) and expiration date.

Deactivating from the Web UI

1. Go to Settings
2. In the License card, click Deactivate License
3. Confirm in the dialog

Your plan will revert to Free, and the session timer will reappear.

Free Plan Limitations

Without a license, APXY runs on the Free plan with these limits:

• 30-minute sessions — the proxy must be restarted after each session
• Limited traffic record history
• Limited active mock rules
• Limited advanced automation workflows
• Custom Certificate Authorities disabled
• Export/import disabled

The session countdown timer appears in the header bar. When the session expires, restart the proxy to begin a new session, or activate a license to remove the limit entirely.

Troubleshooting
